Lives and works in Berlin

Nadine Fecht stands for one of the most promising contemporary positions in the field of drawing and conceptual art.
Fecht's politically motivated work in the field of extended conceptual drawing manifests itself in the form of large-scale drawings, installations, video and sound. In her seemingly minimalist practice, she uses a wide variety of materials, the content of which is set to comment structurally on contemporary phenomena and to draw historical references. In her works, Fecht deals with the relationship of the individual to society, and related constructions of value and unvalue, self-worth and identity. She is particularly interested in situations of upheaval, unstable states - conditions that are on the move.
